I am very, VERY excited to be ending shawl week by announcing a very fun new kit! The Ultravioleta Shawl kit is now available and it is awesome. It's a bit different from our other kits for several reasons, the first one being that it will not be available forever, I have a set number of project bags and when they're gone, that's it! Oh - and did I say project bags? Why yes I did, these kits are a bit more than just a pattern and some yarn (as if that weren't enough!) the Ultravioleta Shawl kits come with there very own project bag plus a few fun surprise TFA trinkets.
Hopefully we'll have many more limited edition assembled kits like this for you in the future. For this kit, we've teamed up with talented designer Hilary Smith Callis and project bag maker extraordinaire ZigZagStitches to bring you a fabulous bundle of knitting delights!
Each kit includes:
• A quality colour copy of Hilary's Ultravioleta Shawl pattern - available exclusively in this TFA kit until December 2014. A beautiful semi-circular single skein lace shawl pattern.
• 1 skein of TFA Cosmic Blue Label Fingering Weight yarn in the kit-exclusive 'Luxe' colourway. I love this colourway, it's predominantly a rich purple, but with pops of teal that work together to make each sparkly skein really magical.
• 1 drawstring project bag made by ZigZagStitches in bright, cheerful chevron fabrics - there are 3 fabric options, which bag you receive will be a surprise! The project bags are beautifully crafted. I've been secretly using mine for months and it's it's the perfect size for a single skein project. I couldn't live without it.
• A couple extra TFA trinkets! Because I love you - that's why!
