Gauge: 7 stitches and 14 rounds = 2” square in garter stitch on larger needles.
Needles: 5mm and 6mm 20” circular needles and 6mm dpns.

Size: Fit’s an average 19-22” head comfortably. Hat is stretchy to fit a variety of sizes, to adjust sizing go up or down a needle size.

There is something about the crisp look of chunky textured knits that I just can’t get enough of. The graphic quality of the large scale motifs made from a comparably small number of stitches is so satisfying to knit. I had enough yarn leftover from my single skein to get a decent sized pompom too!
