Size: one size fits most – finshed mitt is approx 4“ wide (8“ circumferance) and 8.25“ long from cuff to tip.
Yarn: 1 TFA Sweet Nectar Mitten Kit or approx. 130 yds of 2 complementary colourways of TFA Yellow Label DK Weight yarn (labeled background colour and hummingbird colour) and 200 yds of TFA Purple Label Cashmere Sock yarn for the lining.
Needles: set of 3.25 mm (US 3) dpns
Gauge: 28 sts and 30 rounds = 4” in colourwork pattern
Additional Tools and Materials: tapestry needle, stitch marker, waste yarn.

My Sweet Nectar Mitten pattern was born out of a desire to knit something that felt tropical and fun but that would still be practical during wool wearing season. Who ever thought that tropical themed woolies were a thing!? The whimsical hummingbird and flower motifs are sure to brighten even the darkest and shortest of winter days. Lined with a cheery pop of cashmere colour these mitts will make you forget about the polar vortex while keeping you warm and cozy!
