Size: 30 (32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56)”
Yarn: 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6) skeins Tanis Fiber Arts Orange Label Cashmere/Silk Worsted Weight yarn, sample shown in Gold. Or same amount Green Label Aran Weight yar, striped sample features multiple shades of Green Label.
Needles: 5mm for body, 4.5mm for ribbing, or size needed to obtain gauge and one size smaller for ribbing. Or size needed to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 17 sts and 24 rows in 4” in stockinette stitch.
Additional Tools and Materials: Stitch markers, tapestry needle.

A simple, easy vest, with almost no finishing. The perfect thing to throw on with just about anything when you need an extra layer of cozyness with no fuss or bulk. The vest is designed to hang open, keeping the silhouette slim, but looks just as good accessorized with a belt or brooch. Try experimenting with this vest! It’s a great simple shape to add stripes, colourwork, maybe a cable or two, pockets… the possibilities are endless!
