City Limits

CA$15.00

City Limits is my perfect sweatshirt style pullover. Written for a versatile worsted weight gauge, what I love about this pattern is that you can really make it your own. My sample was knit holding two strands of fingering weight throughout in 5 different colours to create a marled fade - Rowan’s sample features a single show stopping speckled colourway of worsted weight yarn. My sample is shown with the purl side side out while Rowan is sporting his with the stockinette side out. I finished all of Rowan’s hems with ribbing while mine received an icord treatment. So much room to customize! My sample features about 5” of positive ease with no waist shaping but instructions for optional waist shaping are provided. A versatile blank canvas sweater pattern - my very favourite kind!

Yarn
Tanis Fiber Arts PureWash Worsted Weight yarn (113 g = 205 yds).
Approximately 200 (250, 320, 375, 450, 550, 650) (800, 900, 975, 1050, 1150) 1250, 1325, 1350, 1450, 1550
Or 2 strands of TFA PureWash Fingering (113 g = 450 yds) held together. If using fingering you will need double the yardage. For my sample I held 2 strands of fingering with 1 strand of mohair throughout and though I love that mohair halo it isn’t necessary to obtain gauge. Totally optional!

My son’s sample is knit in the Leo colourway in our PureWash Worsted Weight yarn.
