Yarn: 1 skein Tanis Fiber Arts Orange Label Cashmere/Silk Single, 75% merino, 15% cashmere, 10% silk, 115g = 205yds. Sample shown in ‘Abyss’.
Gauge: 16 stitches and 18 rounds = 2" in 2x2 ribbing.
Needles: 4.5mm (US 7) 16" circular needle and dpns.
Size: Women’s medium - finished hat fits a 19-21” head comfortably and is 9.5” from cast on to top.
Additional Tools and Materials: 1 stitch marker, tapestry needle, pompom!

2 years ago I designed the Ah Caramel fingerless mitts and have been jonesing for the coordinating hat ever since. These cushy, meandering cables come together beautifully to create a cozy slouch. Knit in a bouncy yarn and topped with a fun pompom it’s my favourite kind of quick knit.
