TFA's Year In Colour
We are very excited to launch the second instalment of the TFA Year In Colour Club; a custom colourway, single skein yarn club for 2012!
Every other month (January, March, May, July, September and November) subscribers will receive a custom-dyed skein of fingering weight yarn with an exclusive pattern from one of the very talented designers we are lucky enough to be working with. This year will feature designs by:
Julie Crawford of KnittedBliss (and TFA!)
Hannah Fettig of Knitbot
Alana Dakos of Never Not Knitting
Hilary Smith Callis of the Yarniad
Kirsten Kapur of Through the Loops
and Jared Flood of BrooklynTweed!
In 2012 we have upped the ante to include a wider range of luxurious fingering weight yarns. Throughout the year club members will receive three shipments of Blue Label, one shipment each of Purple Label, Red Label and a beautiful new merino/silk blend. (see yarns page for more details.)
The patterns will all be one skein wonders, designed specifically for the custom colourway it accompanies. Expect to receive patterns for anything from shawls and gloves to cowls and, of course, socks! Fingering weight is so versatile and the club hopes to explore the many possibilities for one little skein.
Club shipments will be mailed at towards the middle of the month (ex: shipment for January will go out mid January). The club colourways and patterns will not be available anywhere else for the duration of the club calendar year.
Club memberships will be available all year long. New members who join throughout the year will recieve all past shipments with their first package.
