Happy 4 year anniversary to the love of my life! I have a cutting from the peony plant that my bouquet was made from. The original plant belonged to my great auntie Beth, my grandmother's sister. If she were still alive today she would be well into her 100's. The plant is under my office window. A few of the heavy heads have just burst open into gorgeous feathery blooms. I think I'll bring some indoors so we can enjoy them together on this rainy day.
Chris truly is my perfect compliment (and I his I think). He's calm and I'm hyper. He goes with the flow and I plan. I say: "Let's try a new blue, something really TFA, y'know?" And somehow with just that little bit of direction he does know. He came in with the most beautiful turquoise blue with bits of green and purple. It's so beautiful I can't wait to knit with it. He's the best, and today and everyday I am so thankful that we are each other's other half.
